How to set up n8n

n8n is the visual workflow tool every Agent Wes build runs on. You don't need to code — you drag nodes onto a canvas and connect them. This guide gets you from zero to a running instance in about ten minutes.

Cloud vs. self-hosted

Start with n8n Cloud (free trial, no setup) unless you have a reason to self-host. You can always export your workflows and move later — they're just JSON.

Your first canvas

Create a new workflow, add a Manual Trigger, and you're ready. Every course picks up from exactly here, so do this once and you're set for the whole series.
